Clinical Evaluation of the Spermatogenic Activity of the Root Extract of Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) in Oligospermic Males: A Pilot Study (2013)

Summary: This 90-day pilot study involved 46 male patients with oligospermia. Participants received 225 mg of KSM-66 Ashwagandha root extract three times daily. Results showed a 17% increase in serum testosterone levels, along with significant improvements in sperm count, semen volume, and sperm motility.

Examining the effect of Withania somnifera supplementation on muscle strength and recovery: a randomized controlled trial (2015)

Summary: In this 8-week study, 57 men with little weight training experience participated in a resistance training program. One group received 300 mg of KSM-66 Ashwagandha root extract twice daily, while the other received a placebo.
