Inulin Fiber Prebiotic Supplement Powder, 340g, 106 Doses

1. What is inulin fiber?
Inulin is a soluble dietary fiber derived from plants (commonly chicory root). It’s a prebiotic fiber that helps feed the beneficial bacteria in your gut, supports digestive regularity, and contributes to overall gut health.

2. What benefits can I expect from using inulin?

Supports healthy colon flora by nourishing beneficial microbiota

Promotes digestive regularity and helps prevent constipation

May help improve mineral absorption (e.g. calcium, magnesium)

Helps moderate blood sugar levels by slowing carbohydrate digestion

Adds fiber without significant calories or bulk

3. How much inulin should I take per day?
Typical doses are 5 to 10 grams per day, usually split into smaller servings (e.g. 2.5 g twice daily). Start with a lower dose to allow your system to adapt and increase gradually.

4. When is the best time to take inulin?
You can take inulin with meals, mixed into water, smoothies, yogurt, or other foods. Taking it with food may help reduce any initial digestive discomfort.

5. Can I mix inulin with coffee, shakes, or foods?
Yes. Inulin is flavor-neutral and dissolves easily, making it easy to blend into smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, shakes, or even beverages like coffee or tea without altering taste.

6. Is inulin safe for long-term use?
Yes. Inulin has been studied extensively and is considered safe and well tolerated for long-term use at appropriate doses. Monitoring your tolerance and adjusting accordingly is wise.

7. Are there side effects I should be aware of?
Some people — especially when starting — may experience mild digestive symptoms such as gas, bloating, or cramping. These typically subside as your gut adapts. If discomfort persists, reduce the dose and increase gradually.

8. What is the difference between psyllium and inulin?

Psyllium is a bulk-forming fiber that absorbs water, swells in the gut, and helps push waste through the digestive tract. It’s very effective for promoting bowel regularity and softening stools.

Inulin is a soluble, fermentable prebiotic fiber that doesn’t bulk up like psyllium. Instead, it feeds gut bacteria, supports microbiome health, and helps moderate digestion and nutrient absorption.
While psyllium is excellent for mechanistic support, inulin is more focused on microbiome and long-term digestive ecosystem benefits.

9. Can inulin help with weight management?
Yes. Because inulin increases feelings of fullness and slows digestion, it may help reduce appetite and support weight control when combined with a balanced diet and exercise.

10. Why should I choose miNATURALS Inulin Fiber over cheaper fiber powders?
miNATURALS Inulin is high purity, third-party tested, and free from unnecessary additives or fillers. It dissolves cleanly and blends well with foods, giving you the digestive and microbiome benefits of inulin in a quality, trustworthy product.
