FAQs

1. What is Inulin Fibre from Jerusalem Artichoke?
This product contains inulin derived from Jerusalem artichoke (sunchoke), a natural source rich in soluble prebiotic fiber. Jerusalem artichoke is a plant tuber known for its high inulin content and gentle effect on digestion.

2. What benefits can I expect from Jerusalem artichoke inulin?

Feeds beneficial gut bacteria and supports a healthy microbiome

Helps promote digestive regularity and stool consistency

May help with mineral absorption (e.g. calcium, magnesium)

Contributes to satiety and may support appetite control

Helps modulate blood sugar response due to its soluble fiber nature

3. How much should I take per day?
Typical doses are 5 to 10 grams per day, often split into smaller servings (e.g. 2.5 g twice daily). Start with a lower amount and increase gradually to allow your digestive system to adapt.

4. When is the best time to take this inulin?
You can consume it anytime — with meals, in smoothies, yogurt, oats, shakes, or mixed into water. Taking it with food may help ease initial digestive adjustment.

5. Can I mix it with hot or cold drinks?
Yes. Jerusalem artichoke inulin is flavor-neutral and dissolves well, so it can be stirred into hot or cold drinks (water, coffee, tea), shakes, or foods without altering taste significantly.

6. Is it safe for long-term use?
Yes. Inulin from Jerusalem artichoke has a long history of use and is considered safe for sustained consumption, when taken at appropriate levels. If you have medical conditions, especially digestive or fructan sensitivities, consult your healthcare provider first.

7. Are there side effects or digestive reactions?
Mild gas, bloating, or cramping may occur — especially during the first few days as your gut adjusts. These effects tend to subside with gradual use. If discomfort persists, reduce the dose and progress more slowly.

8. How does Jerusalem artichoke inulin compare to other fiber sources like psyllium or chicory inulin?

Jerusalem artichoke inulin is a soluble, fermentable fiber that acts as a prebiotic and supports microbiome health.

Psyllium is a bulk-forming fiber that absorbs water, swells, and helps push waste through the colon.

Chicory inulin is another inulin source, quite common; Jerusalem artichoke inulin can be seen as a natural alternative with similar prebiotic benefits but derived from a tuberous plant.

So while psyllium is best for mechanical support of bowel movement, Jerusalem artichoke inulin is more about microbiome balance and gut ecosystem support.

9. Can this fiber help with weight management?
Yes. Because inulin slows digestion and promotes feelings of fullness, it may aid in appetite regulation and help you better manage overall caloric intake.

10. Why choose your Jerusalem artichoke inulin over other fiber powders?
Your formula is high purity, third-party tested, and free of fillers or additives. Jerusalem artichoke is a natural, food-derived fiber source. It dissolves cleanly and integrates well with food or beverages — giving you clean, effective prebiotic support.
