"Normally I struggle a bit with getting to sleep and staying asleep. I've tried melatonin in various doses to varying degrees of success, but I also deal with a fair amount of stress on a daily basis between home life and work life (I'm not whining about it, I'm a single dad with a significantly disabled child and my work is project focused on tight deadlines, so lots of moving parts) - so this a double win.
I'm not saying it's a guaranteed result, and you should always talk to your doctor before you take a supplement you may not be sure of; however, in my case, this really helps to tone down the effects of stress, and - at least for me - really helps me to wind down a bit at the end of the day, particularly when bedtime rolls around.
This is going to be a mainstay in my routine for the foreseeable future, even if just for the help in winding down at night so I can actually get to sleep. But the bonus restful sleep I get with this helps me be not all groggy and tired during the day in the office, so the productivity goes up as side effect.
I will say I haven't noticed anything different from a cardiovascular perspective, but I don't think I necessarily would unless I was looking for it.
Either way, I love this stuff and it makes a positive different in the day, so I can definitely get behind that!"
